Transformative Team Building at Broughton Sanctuary

24 July 2024 – Broughton Sanctuary in Skipton is inviting businesses to experience truly transformative corporate gatherings, with options for single away days or longer wellbeing retreats.

With both historic and modern venues, 3,000 acres of nature to play in and delicious healthy food to nourish mind, body and soul, Broughton Sanctuary is an unrivalled location for corporate team building, with the option to discover the Sanctuary's one-of-a-kind Wyrd Experience.

Corporate Away Days - ‘Get Wyrd’
For leaders seeking to unlock their team's hidden potential, Broughton Sanctuary offers Corporate Away Days featuring the Wyrd Experience.  This interactive session demonstrates the power of human intention and interconnectedness using original equipment and experiments from the prestigious Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research (PEAR) programme. Participants can take part in gamified training sessions designed to enhance their intuition and emotional intelligence, culminating in a fun "Jedi Score" assessment. Guests will enjoy lunch at Broughton’s Utopia, a walled garden bistro serving delicious plant-based food.

Transformative Corporate Wellbeing Retreats
For a more immersive experience, Broughton Sanctuary offers multi-day corporate wellbeing programmes with the Wyrd Experience as an optional activity. Participants can choose from an extensive a la carte menu including forest bathing, cold water swimming, a woodland sauna, ice bathing, a sweat lodge and exploring the estate's bike tracks.

Corporate guests also enjoy access to Avalon Wellbeing - a dedicated state-of-the-art centre to unwind and rejuvenate. Featuring a steam room, sauna, pool, personal training gym and a floatation tank, the centre offers holistic experiences like Yin Yoga and crystal bowl sound healing sessions.

The Wyrd Experience includes:

  • A tour of Wyrd Experience including interaction with the original Princeton equipment and access to the Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research lab library with books, journals and original research data
  • Interviews with the scientists and entrepreneurs
  • An introduction to the first Wyrd Technologies product that enables researchers to detect the impact of events on the field of consciousness
  • A presentation of the most recent research findings including highly significant results at the moment of death (carried out in Intensive Care Units and hospices)

The Wyrd team is also available to run facilitated workshops designed to build the team’s strategic thinking and collaboration skills. This option focuses on interactive activities designed to boost team cohesion, problem-solving abilities and productivity in a highly engaging environment.
