New Restaurant and Ski Restoration Programme The Alpina Gstaad Opens for Winter
A brand new restaurant centred on communal dining, and a new three-day Ski Restoration wellbeing programme will be unveiled at The Alpina Gstaad, when it reopens for the winter season, from 12 December 2024 - 11 March 2025.
Culinary Highlights
New restaurant – Monti
Monti, a new restaurant by Michelin-starred Executive Chef Martin Göschel, will offer relaxed, communal dining. Under the guidance of Antonia Crespí, Casa Gstaad’s founder & Tarmak22 co-founder, and renowned architect Jakob Sprenger, the new space is one of refined sophistication. Highlights include an exquisite meat trolley, whole fish selections, a Swiss cheese trolley, and shareable starters like carne cruda prepared at the table and creamy burrata with cherry tomatoes.
The renewal of Martin Göschel restaurant
For an exclusive fine-dining experience, head to the Martin Göschel restaurant (formerly Sommet by Martin Göschel), where a degustation menu is available in 4, 5 and 6 courses (including vegetarian option). Chef Göschel uses only Swiss proteins, eliminating all non-Swiss seafood, shellfish, meats, and dairy products from his menu. Aligning closely with The Alpina Gstaad’s sustainability goals, the restaurant aims to reduce the environmental impact associated with the restaurant’s supply chain. It supports local, regional, and national producers and breeders, thereby fostering a stronger sense of community and promoting the Swiss culinary heritage.*
New Terrace Setting & Visual Identity
The newly renamed Alpina Lounge and Alpina Terrace now offers a brand new layout and an outdoor bar, perfect for relaxed dining and drinks. The furniture and designs are also by Antonia Crespí and Jakob Sprenger. The Alpina Gstaad’s new dining spaces are further elevated by a new visual identity, led by Creative Director Alexander Kellas, renowned for his work with Cipriani, Les Bains Paris and Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles. Kellas has redesigned all the menus of The Alpina Gstaad gastronomic venues, playfully integrating Saanenland-inspired animal motifs seen in the custom carpet designed by Crespí and Sprenger.

Wellbeing Highlights
New Ski Restoration programme
Ideal for boosting ski performance and improving recovery, the hotel’s Six Senses Spa unveils a new three-day Ski Restoration programme. Each day, a ‘performance accelerator session’ includes sessions on the non-invasion, biohacking machines. They feature the HyperMax Oxygen system with training bikes, Red Light Therapy which converts light energy into metabolic energy, PEMF (Pulse Electromagnetic Field) which delivers low-frequency magnetic fields to the body, and Cryotherapy.
The combined effects of the machines optimise physical performance through reduced inflammation, improved circulation and the oxygenation and regeneration of cells and tissues. They also support cardiovascular function, greater endurance and faster recovery. The programme includes a 60-minute Thai massage, 30 minutes of stretching, and a 30-minute head massage.
