Explore the Pacific’s last remaining frontier

Four Seasons Explorer, Palau

“Is this the most luxurious floating resort in the world? We certainly think so, and with an adventurous streak in her too. The Four Seasons Explorer offers a trip like no other.”

The 11-cabin, 3-deck catamaran, Four Seasons Explorer is heading on a new marine adventure to one of the world’s last remaining natural frontiers.

Hidden in a secluded part of the untouched Pacific, Palau is home to more than 340 UNESCO World Heritage islands, breathtaking lagoons, a vast spectrum of marine life, astonishing reefs and a unique 4,000-year-old culture still sustained by the local knowledge of just 20,000 traditionally minded people – the most vital and wondrous element of this story.‍

The core Palauan value of ‘omengull’ – respecting all and everything – deeply aligns with the values at Four Seasons. On arrival, all visitors are asked to sign the ‘Palauan Pledge’ before embarking on an immersion in one of the world’s most unique cultures, founded on tradition and respect. This is a bucket-list destination for anyone seeking remote harmony with nature, and the opportunity to learn and embrace the unique Palauan way of life.

Renowned as one of the Seven Underwater Wonders of the World, Palau has long been a destination for divers, snorkellers and explorers.

More than 1,400 species of fish and 500 species of healthy corals thrive in Palau’s crystal waters and elevated lakes. Other diving marvels include the formations of Chandelier Cave, the WWII Helmet Wreck, the Blue Corner and the canyons of Peleliu Wall.

‍Four Seasons Explorer, Palau, operates as a floating resort, offering daily embarkations and disembarkations allowing up to 22 guests to explore as deeply – and for as long – as they wish. All adventures are entirely bespoke and the vessel is also available for private charters.
