Wellness 2025: Twelve Mindful Months at Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai

A year-long journey of renewal and rejuvenation along the coast of Central Vietnam

Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai sets the scene for a year of wellness with an expansive journey designed to nurture body, mind, and spirit. Each month unfolds new pathways to holistic well-being through personalised consultations, profound rituals, and innovative therapies offered by resident experts as well as visiting practitioners.

At the core of the Resort’s wellness experience is the award-winning Heart of the Earth Spa, inspired by the teachings of Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh. Set by a lotus-filled lagoon, this tranquil oasis serves as a catalyst for introspection and renewal, led by the holistic vision of Wellness Manager and Resident Naturopath Dr. Sudha Nair.

Explore twelve mindful months at Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai with exclusive offerings from Visiting Practitioners, complemented by treatments and experiences at the Resort.

January: Detox and Reset

The year begins with a focus on detoxification and recovery, guided by skilled healer Azusa Segawa (1-10 January) who helps guests realign their emotional and physical energies. Chi Nei Tsang, an ancient Taoist massage, assists in the purification of internal organs, while Usui Reiki rebalances subtle energy centres, restoring the flow of life force throughout the body.

To further detoxify, head to the Spa for Nam Hai Stretch, a gentle therapy that releases muscle tension with the use of herbal poultices, or Adreno Scrub & Wrap, a crystal sound-enhanced treatment to boost adrenal health.

February: Emotional Cleansing

Emotional release takes centre stage with Jeannette Von Johnsbach (12-28 February) and her transformative Andreas Method, rooted in energy healing. Let go of long-held emotional blockages and anxieties, on both conscious and unconscious levels, while moving toward a lighter, more equilibrated self.

Celebrate Sound Healing Day (14 February) with a Crystal Singing Bowl Experience, which uplifts the mood using the therapeutic vibrations of crystal singing bowls tuned to 432 Hz, believed to be the harmonic frequency of the universe that provides deep healing and alignment for the body and mind.

March: Revitalise & Sleep

Forge a deeper connection with the body’s natural rhythms through facial reflexology, under the expert touch of Alex Scrimgeour (7-25 March). Specialising in Dien Chan Facial Reflexology and Acupuncture, which is anchored in traditional Chinese medicine, Alex uses facial pressure points to stimulate energy pathways, addressing everything from immunity issues to chronic pain.

Guests can commemorate World Sleep Day (14 March) with the Charge Your Sleep retreat, a full-day restorative experience that includes a wellness screening, Yoga Nidra, and deep-peace bodywork to induce total relaxation.

April: Soul Connection

Gifted medium Marco Della Valle (1-10 April) helps guests to connect with their spiritual selves through psychic and mediumship readings, designed for closure and guidance from the spirit world. Marco’s gentle approach promises a healing experience that transcends the ordinary.

Continue the soulful journey with Good Night Kiss to the Earth, an all-time favourite ritual where guests float wishing candles on the Spa lagoon at sunset, and the Amethyst & Pearl Scrub and Wrap, designed to restore clarity of mind and strength of heart.

May: Deep Resilience

Shaolin warrior monk, Harshh Verma (1-15 May), brings his expertise in martial arts to workshops such as Warrior Level 1, Qi Gong, and Mental Health Warrior, empowering guests with the discipline and fortitude needed to build both physical stamina and mental resilience.

The Resort celebrates World Meditation Day (21 May) with a Mindfulness and Meditation session, curated to quiet the mind, increase concentration, and reduce stress, among other mental health benefits. Complement these learnings with the Spa’s spine-focused Essential Surrender therapy, crafted to balance the nervous system.

June: Emotional and Pain Release

Hafsa Khan (1-12 June), known as “The Mystic Med,” creates space for guests to navigate traumas and discover self-love through therapies grounded in Sufism. Release negative energies through a Spinal Energetics session and overcome chronic tension with Integrated Myofascial Bodywork.

Come International Yoga Day (21 June), practice yoga in all its forms from morning to evening. Relieve stress with Restorative Yoga and align the posture with Simplified Kundalini Yoga in classes led by Resident Yoga Artist Hanh Linh, who brings her in-depth knowledge of holistic wellness to each asana.

The end of the month brings the three-day Reawaken Retreat (28-30 June), led by renowned life coach Judy Xu and Dr. Sudha. Guests are invited to travel inward and decode their life path through integrated modalities such as yoga and meditation, personal consultations, life coaching, spa treatments, nutritional support, and heart-opening rituals like the cacao ceremony.

July: Rebirth and Restoration

Renowned life coach and holistic healer Judy Xu (1-10 July) extends her stay at the Resort, facilitating emotional transformation and the discovery of true-life purpose and inner peace. Her expertise ranges from personal coaching and goal setting to Ho’olokahi numerology and Shamanic healing.

The Resort also welcomes Stephen Kirwin (16-31 July), whose Integrated Deep Tissue Bodywork offers relief from chronic pain. A twelve-time Ironman triathlete, Stephen stimulates the natural healing power of the body using an intricate blend of neuromuscular therapies that release discomfort and restore mobility.

August: Body-Alignment

Meet Resident Yoga Artist Hanh Linh for Wheel Yoga at the inspiring open-air pavilion, a serene haven surrounded by lush greenery. Centred on spinal alignment and back health, this therapeutic practice helps release tension and muscular tightness in the back, chest, shoulders, abdomen, and hip flexors, making backbends possible for all bodies.

September: Holistic Beauty

Celebrate International Beauty Day (9 September) with the Inner Beauty and Anti-Ageing retreat. Inviting guests to rejuvenate the body and enhance the skin’s natural glow, this all-day program features a nutrition consultation, face yoga, and cosmetic facial acupuncture with LED light therapy to enhance micro-circulation and stimulate collagen and elastin production. An energising bodywork session imbued with the healing sounds of a tuning fork completes the experience.

October: Mental Wellbeing

In honour of World Mental Health Day (10 October), the Destress with Mindfulness retreat opens a pathway to clarity and serenity. The full-day itinerary includes an Oligoscan wellness screening, breathwork, Mandala meditation, and a calming head session to clear mental fog and restore a sense of inner peace.

Nurture the soul with a Loving Kindness Meditation that encourages self-compassion as well as empathy towards others. Rooted in the transformative power of awareness, this practice cultivates a profound stillness and invites a softening of the heart.

November: Sound Therapy

Nam Hai Earth Song, a signature spa ritual, aligns the self with the rhythms of the earth. Partake in a sound-and-breath medley as sustainable agarwood smoke fills the air, followed by a scrub and bath featuring herbs from the Resort’s on-site farm. A deep-pressure massage with gemstone-tipped tuning forks completes the journey.

Resident Spa Manager Oanh Ngo also leads therapeutic sound baths with a complete eight-octave set of crystal singing bowls, harnessing vibrational frequencies and soothing tones to deepen the connection with Mother Earth.

December: Overall Wellness

End the year on a high note with Antigravity Yoga led by Christopher Harrison (20-31 December), known as “The Father of Aerial Yoga.” Combining elements from yoga, Pilates, dance, and gymnastics, this dynamic practice offers a fun and challenging approach to fitness, using silk hammocks to boost flexibility and strengthen the body.

Led by Dr. Sudha, the Wellness Screening and Naturopathy Consultation uses groundbreaking Oligoscan technology to review the year’s progress. Guests receive an in-depth report, including personalised nutritional and lifestyle recommendations, empowering them to take control of their future wellness journey.
