Indigo8 Appointed UK Representative for Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur and Four Seasons Resort Langkawi

Indigo8 is delighted to announce its appointment as the UK representative for two award-winning properties: Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur and Four Seasons Resort Langkawi. The new partnership brings together two distinctly different Malaysian experiences – from Kuala Lumpur’s contemporary buzz to Langkawi's natural beauty.

FOUR SEASONS HOTEL KUALA LUMPUR

Standing a sleek 65 storeys tall in the city’s business, shopping and entertainment Golden Triangle hub, Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur redefines the capital’s skyline. Right next to the iconic Petronas Twin Towers and with direct access to the 20-hectare tropical gardens of Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) Park, the 236-rooms and suites hotel combines city energy with unexpected green space.

The Hotel
Since opening in July 2018, Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur has established itself as a standout urban destination. With contemporary interiors that combine 180-degree views of the skyline or the park and subtle suggestions of Malaysia’s rich heritage, guests feel completely connected to the buzzing cityscape.

Dining
MICHELIN Selected Yun House serves refined Cantonese cuisine and dim sum in a sophisticated setting designed to celebrate the rich fusion of Chinese heritage and Malaysian culture. Highlights include screens featuring plum blossom, orchid, bamboo, and chrysanthemum, ceiling-high shelves displaying traditional tea canisters and five private dining rooms. At the all-day theatrical kitchen Curate, chefs at live stations prepare a vibrant array of international dishes, from freshly pulled noodles to sizzling grilled specialties. The opulent Bar Trigona - No. 36 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars list, is named after Malaysia’s native stingless bee, champions local and sustainable ingredients on its award-winning cocktail menu. The inviting Lounge offers an all-day menu. It also hosts an elegant afternoon tea service, complete with a live piano performance.

Spa and Wellness
The hotel’s Spa features eight treatment rooms, including two couples’ rooms and a new spa menu drawing inspiration from diverse wellness cultures ranging from Ayurveda and Chinese medicine to Swedish and Turkish massage. Treatments are complemented by Spa Senses products from Valmont and Skeyndor; the “science creates beauty” Spanish spa brand that blends ancient wellness traditions from around the world.

Fitness enthusiasts enjoy training using the latest equipment in the state-of-the-art gym with floor-to-ceiling views of the KLCC Park. Swimmers love the infinity pool with panoramic views for speedy laps or lazy breaststroke. Six poolside cabanas provide perfect spots for soaking up the sun against the backdrop of Kuala Lumpur’s instantly recognisable skyline.

Executive Club
The Executive Club offers an exclusive retreat for Club Room and Suite guests, combining business convenience with elevated comfort. Guests can stay productive with access to private meeting rooms, premium services and a dedicated concierge, while enjoying all-day refreshments, afternoon tea and evening cocktails. Additional benefits include two hours of complimentary boardroom use daily, 15% off spa treatments, and daily dry-cleaning services. As the day winds down, the elegant space becomes a sophisticated social hub, perfect for unwinding with a cocktail and taking in the stunning city skyline.

Recreation
The hotel’s location puts guests above Shoppes at Four Seasons Place, a six-floor marbled extravaganza of luxury brands, fine dining and stylish cafes. Just steps away, the lush, 50-acre KLCC Park offers jogging tracks, a two-acre children’s playground, and a nightly Lake Symphony Light and Sound Water Fountain Show. Visitors can also discover over 5000 aquatic creatures at the Aquaria KLCC and take in views from the Petronas Towers’ 86th-floor observation deck.

Off-site Experiences
The hotel's central location means that guests can easily explore Kuala Lumpur’s diverse neighbourhoods. The Les Clefs d’Or Malaysia awarded concierge arranges tours to local markets, heritage districts, and architectural landmarks, including the distinctive 19th-century Sultan Abdul Samad Building and the Batu Caves temple complex. The city’s noted food scene – from street stalls to fine dining – is also within easy reach.

Enhanced Accessibility for UK Travellers
British Airways relaunches direct flights to Kuala Lumpur this spring, making Four Seasons Malaysia properties much more accessible to UK travellers. The flight directly connects visitors to the capital’s Four Seasons Hotel, and then it’s just a one-hour hop to Langkawi island for the complete Malaysian experience.

FOUR SEASONS RESORT LANGKAWI

Just an hour’s flight from Kuala Lumpur, Four Seasons Resort Langkawi, located within the UNESCO Global Geopark, is a vast open-air playground on Malaysia’s “Isle of Legends.” On the northeastern cape of Tanjung Rhu, the setting combines lush forest with a mile-long section of Langkawi’s best beach, views of the Andaman Sea and dramatic limestone formations.

The Resort
Celebrating two decades this May, the beachfront property features 68 pavilions and 24 villas, set in 48 acres of tropical gardens. Created in a distinctive design that references both Moorish influences and traditional Malay village layouts, the pavilions and villas blend Asian and Arabic influences.

The interiors are inspired by Langkawi nature; they showcase exotic local wood and stone and are complemented by artisanal details such as woven screens, handcrafted mirrors and batik textiles.

Wellness
The Geo Spa at Four Seasons Resort Langkawi is a nature-inspired sanctuary amid limestone cliffs and reflecting ponds. Treatment pavilions, featuring thatched roofs, floor-to-ceiling windows, and rain showers, create a serene environment that connects guests to the surrounding natural beauty. Drawing upon Langkawi’s designation as a UNESCO Global Geopark, the spa harnesses the region’s energies and the balancing principles of Ayurveda. Signature treatments incorporate the four essential elements – earth, water, fire, and air – to offer transformative experiences that nourish the body, mind, and spirit.

With a newly appointed spa director, the treatment programme is entering a new era of innovative treatments, bespoke experiences, and an evolving philosophy that blends traditional healing with contemporary practices.

Dining
The restaurants celebrate both Malaysian and regional culinary traditions. Once an anchovy fishing village, Ikan-Ikan, meaning “fish” in Malay, offers fresh seafood in a traditional Malaysian home setting. HAVA offers fire-cooked North Indian creations with local ingredients and authentic spices. The beachfront Kelapa Grill offers fresh Josper-grilled steaks alongside a variety of land and sea-inspired dishes, all in a relaxed tropical setting. Serai offers an international breakfast complemented by the breeze of the Andaman Sea. Rhu Bar offers locally inspired cocktails enhanced by sunset views. At Lesung Batu Cooking School, local chefs invite curious guests to discover the secrets of the region’s abundant produce and aromatic flavours through hands-on culinary experiences.

On-site Recreation
Four Seasons Resort Langkawi surprises guests with activities throughout its expansive grounds. An infinity pool merges with the sea. Guests can walk with the resort’s naturalist, who points out all the resident wildlife - wide-eyed dusky leaf monkeys peer from trees while hornbills fly overhead and shy monitor lizards scuttle away. The property makes clever use of its natural geology; a limestone cliff becomes a climbing challenge, and beachgoers find sports adventures a-plenty on the gentle waves. At the on-site Geopark Discovery Centre, visitors can explore the region’s many unique treasures through interactive displays and presentations. From rainforests to rock formations, tropical flora to exotic fauna, it's a fascinating look at the incredible diversity of habitats and the creatures that call this special place home.

Off-site Experiences
The property serves as an ideal base for exploring Langkawi’s numerous natural attractions. The resort’s naturalists lead excursions through Kilim Karst Geoforest Park, where guests can spot wildlife like eagles, monkeys, and “fish that walk” while navigating mangrove forests.

Other nature experiences include jungle trekking, birdwatching, and exploring the island’s fascinating geological formations, such as dramatic sea stacks and tranquil lakes.
