Train, Heal, Feast: Daios Cove Delivers A Game-Changing Approach to Wellbeing

As the Aegean shores warm with Mediterranean spring sunshine, Daios Cove is taking wellbeing to new heights for 2025. The iconic Cretan luxury resort unveils experiences designed to rejuvenate mind, body and spirit, from new treatments, healing masters and plant-based dishes by KĒPOS - the resort’s pioneering hub of wellbeing - and new exploratory routes to elevate the guest experience beyond the Cove.

New Collection Junior Suites: Serenity by Design
Expanding its signature selection of premium accommodation, Daios Cove boasts four brand new Premium Junior Suites with private pool at The Collection for 2025. The suites blend minimalist design with elegance, flowing from spacious bedrooms to open-plan living areas to private seawater pools with uninterrupted views of the breathtaking Aegean.

Every element of a stay at The Collection supports wellbeing, through sleep, fitness, flavour and wellness to the earthy tones that echo the surrounding landscape. In-room amenities elevate the experience with nutrient-dense snacks, artisanal botanical drinks, organic herbal infusions, alkalising water and a signature coffee offering featuring select bean varietal blends.

New treatments at KĒPOS by Goco: High-tech healing meets innovation
The resort’s acclaimed wellness space, KĒPOS, whose name draws inspiration from Epicurus’ ancient garden sanctuary, continues to push boundaries with innovative treatments alongside established favourites. The impressive arsenal at KĒPOS already features a Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber, Cryotherapy Chamber, Colon hydrotherapy, Infrared Sauna as well as advanced Diagnostics facilities and BXR Gym.

This year, they’re introducing new signature treatments including The Lymphatic Drainage Massage, which gently manipulates fluid pathways to reduce swelling and enhance circulation – ideal for anyone combating fatigue or jetlag. The 3-Bright Facial tackles stubborn hyperpigmentation and uneven tone, leaving skin noticeably more luminous after just one session. For body contouring enthusiasts, the Gua Sha Thermal Mud Massage combines Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques with detoxifying thermal mud to sculpt problem areas and release stored toxins – the extended 75-minute version provides additional focus on cellulite reduction. Those seeking pure relaxation will gravitate toward the Tranquillity Body Scrub Ritual, where aromatic essential oils infuse a full-body exfoliation that revitalises the skin and melts away accumulated tension from muscles and mind alike.

Marta Gomes and Lucja Maslowska: A Season of Healing Masters
For 2025, Daios Cove welcomes backtwo extraordinary healerswhose treatments prompted waiting lists last season. Marta Gomes (8 – 25 July) bridges worlds with her unusual blend of Western physiotherapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine – her integrative three-session postpartum therapy has already generated buzz among previous guests.

Lucja Maslowska, a gifted holistic specialist and nutrition coach, returns for the entire month of August. Her intuitive approach combines meditation practices learned in Rishikesh, India, with massage techniques honed at New York’s Swedish Institute. Book early – these practitioners’ calendars fill quickly.

KĒPOS Menus: Nurture and Nourish from Within
Each restaurant at the Cove offers its own dedicated KĒPOS menu featuring dishes organically blending wholesome creations through local recipes full of nutrients, low sugar and reduced calories based on quintessential Mediterranean cuisine. Guests are invited to nurture their wellbeing whilst gaining balance and restoring digestive health.

Plant-based goodness by Angela Charami: Nourishment Reimagined

This season the resort has collaborated with acclaimed Greek plant-based chef Angela Charami to create ten exclusive dishes that perfectly complement the KĒPOS wellbeing philosophy. “These dishes aren’t just about being plant-based,” explains Charami. “They’re about celebrating Greek culinary traditions while nourishing the body in the most thoughtful way possible.”

At Taverna, guests can savour innovative creations like Pastitsio Dumplings with charred cauliflower béchamel or Stifado Kokkari – a reimagined onion stew with baby gem, capers, and seaweed glace.

The Beach House will feature standouts like Plant-Based Artichoke Risotto with smoked celeriac cream and truffle oil, alongside a theatrical Baby Gem Salad in Flames with white miso and hazelnut cream.

BXR London: Box Like a Pro in Paradise
A powerful contender returns to the wellness lineup at Daios Cove this spring. With BXR London – the elite training facility backed by Anthony Joshua – resort guests can train like champions against the backdrop of Crete’s stunning coastline.

During two back-to-back retreats (8-14 and 15-21 May), world-class BXR coaches will guide participants through transformative fitness journeys. First-timers and seasoned fitness enthusiasts will feel equally at home here, with sessions individually tailored to ensure everyone gets a challenging yet accessible workout.

Movement transforms people”, explains Eleni Papadopoulou, Director of Wellness at KĒPOS. “The technical training builds confidence certainly, but it’s the combination of diverse practices and our spectacular setting that creates such a transformative experience for our guest”.

Guests will train in the specially designed indoor and outdoor BXR Gym as well as the BXR Arena set in the stunning nature of the Cove, alternating between technical training and strength conditioning, complemented by recovery treatments and holistic wellness experiences. Beyond the workouts are balanced nutritional meals, protein-rich snacks, and adventures like hiking, mountain biking, and paddleboarding. Six-night packages start at £2,300 based on two sharing.

Immerse in Nature: New Curated Cretan Adventures
For guests wanting to venture beyond the Cove, new curated driving routes have been designed in the ‘Around the Cove’ weekly programme - covering winding mountain passes, sleepy villages with family-run tavernas, and archaeological sites where history practically seeps from the stones.

We’ve always believed that wellbeing extends beyond the resort’s boundaries,” notes George Brilakis, General Manager at Daios Cove. “These new nature experiences connect our guests with the heart and soul of Crete – that’s a different kind of nourishment altogether.”

Daios Cove reopens from 11 April - 8 November 2025, and rooms start from 353euros per night in a Deluxe Sea View room on a Half Board basis.
