Discover the wild wonders of Belize
Unknown Belize docu-series premieres 7 June, London

BE INSPIRED AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE PROTECTION OF BELIZE'S NATURAL HERITAGE

Hosted by The European Nature Trust (TENT), the UK premiere of Unknown Belize will take place on Wednesday 7th June at London’s Royal Geographical Society (RGS). From stunning coral reefs and pristine rainforests, to savannahs and wetlands brimming with biodiversity, Unknown Belize is an exciting new philanthropic documentary that explores the nation’s natural beauty and character in conservation.

The four-part documentary uncovers the wild wonders of a little-known nation of immense pride and purpose. Discover inspiring conservationists, wildlife campaigners, and new, sustainable community-based agribusinesses. 100% of proceeds from the event will be donated by TENT to the protection and promotion of Belize's natural environment.

Belize is a nation comparatively under the radar to travellers. An English-speaking country the size of Wales, it has a population of just 400,000, and when it comes to environmental protection and sustainable development, Belize provides a blueprint. 80% of the nation remains undeveloped, with 60% of its land surface as intact forest and the second longest barrier reef in the world. It has nearly fulfilled its UN commitment to protect 30% of the world’s land and oceans by 2030.

This new documentary invites curious travellers to journey across its diverse habitats, explore visionary environmental projects and meet the passionate conservationists and grassroots foundations working to preserve the nation’s natural heritage*.
