Honour Schram de Jong

Honour started her career in the hospitality industry many years ago working as marketing assistant at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons where her love for all things food, wine and travel began.

After several more years working various marketing roles in different industries using all spare holiday time getting to know different corners of the world, she went back to university and completed a Masters degree in International Hotel and Tourism Management. Upon completion in 2004, Honour packed her bags and moved to Zambia where her Africa journey began.

Endorsing luxury lodges and camps, Honour Way (Marketing & Sales Company) was then established in 2007 in response to demands for a more personalised and effective service covering not only the UK but the European Continent as a whole (Honour speaks fluent Dutch, French and German). The aim was to provide a personal, continuous and very exclusive service to a small number of luxury and unique accommodation around the world, who understand that personal service and attention to detail really make the difference.

In 2012 Honour was voted on to the board of Directors for the Africa Travel and Tourism Association and has relished the various challenges working alongside a group of incredibly influential and inspiring characters as Pan-Africa’s largest network of tourism product.

Hospitality & travel aside Honour is a keen sportswoman including sailing having completed two legs on a round the world yacht race and has enjoyed sailing as a hobby and competitive sport since .
