Getting over a Saturday night has never tasted so good - Grace Belgravia launches Sunday Detox Brunch
September 2016: Whether you need to get yourself back on track after an excessive summer or simply fancy a healthy catch up with friends, Grace Belgravia launches The Sunday Grace Detox Brunch. Available to members and non-members, rather than a Bloody Mary and carb loaded approach, the brunch comprises a three-step detox menu that will flush out the results of an overindulgent late night and re-boot you for the week ahead.
The menu, designed by Head Chef Marcin alongside expert Grace Nutritionists, has been carefully selected using wholesome alternative grains and milks, natural sweeteners and superfoods to cook up deliciously healthy classic brunch dishes with their own signature style and twists.
Kick things off with a trio of detox shots, a blend of nutrient dense ingredients of tomato, red chili and lime, followed by calming lemon, ginger and turmeric and ending with a cleansing green apple and spirulina. Together they deliver a quick vitamin hit packed with liver-protecting enzymes and powerful anti-inflammatory effects on the body.
Next, a bottomless supply of fresh juices and smoothies are light on acidic fruits and high on alkalising ingredients to be gentle on the stomach, stabilise the blood sugar and replace essential nutrients. Choose from a list of classics such as Green Detox, a punchy green juice containing avocado, cucumber, spinach, apple, lemon and vitamin B powerhouse spirulina, or Golden Milk, almond milk infused with honey, cinnamon, black pepper and turmeric to give your insides a warm glow and leave you brimming with energy for hours.
Food is boosted with superior antioxidant and super healthy grain goodness. You can choose from menu staples like the chia porridge, or acai bowl with nut and seed granola, mixed berries, coconut flakes and bee pollen. Their signature smashed avocado served with feta, parsley, heritage tomatoes, mung beans and homemade gluten-free bread is a flavor match made in heaven, or just keep it simple with delicious organic poached eggs with smoked salmon.
Gabriela Peacock, Grace Belgravia nutritionist says, “We all know well-balanced nutrition is at the heart of radiant health so to counter balance the over indulgencies of summer we have designed a brunch menu which is light, tasty and packed full of nutrients to help encourage our guests get back to a more healthy lifestyle.”
However, if you still feel like keeping the summer party feeling alive well into the autumn, an extensive range of biodynamic wines and super food cocktails are also available.
Or, if you are feeling really lazy, why not order Grace-to-Go and get your brunch delivered to your door.
Launched on 25th September, the Detox Brunch costs £30 and is open to members and non-members and served on Sundays between 11am and 3pm. Family and friends, including men are also welcome to join.
