Alladale Wilderness Reserve, in partnership with Satopia Travel, invites you to join live conversations with three world-renowned Michelin Star chefs; Marco Pierre White, Raymond Blanc and Francis Mallmann.
Taking place on 8, 10, 12 June respectively, the virtual events are a precursor to three actual experiences that the chefs will host at the Scottish lodge in 2021. The first conversation – with Marco Pierre White – will be moderated by Pieter-Paul Groenhuijsen, General Manager at Alladale Wilderness Reserve. Marco Pierre White’s event at Alladale is from 14-17 May, 2021.
Themed around “Think Global, Act Local”, the conversations will explore how the chefs are dealing with the current, unprecedented circumstances and the impact it’s having on the gastronomy and hospitality sectors. They’ll also discuss local community initiatives they’re involved in. Each conversation finishes with a Q&A.
Free and open to all, the three events are part of ‘Dare to Dream’, a series of online experiences curated by Satopia Travel and hosted by Zoom.
THE EVENTS & HOW TO SIGN UP
Marco Pierre White – 8th of June at 4pm BST
Marco Pierre White is often referred to as the Godfather of modern British cooking and the original celebrity chef. Marco earned three Michelin stars by the age of 33 – becoming the youngest chef ever to do so – and truly put the British culinary scene back on the map.
Raymond Blanc – 10th of June 2020 at 4pm BST
Raymond Blanc is a gastronomic icon, acknowledged as one of the finest chefs in the world. Yet his philosophy is endearingly simple: ‘My team and I aim to excel in what we do, but never to take ourselves too seriously.’ He is chef-patron and chairman of Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons, the two-starred Michelin hotel-restaurant in Oxfordshire, England.
Francis Mallmann – 12th of June 2020 at 4pm BST
Mallmann is one of the most influential high-profile chefs in the world, who specialises in Argentine cuisine, and especially his various Patagonian methods of barbecuing food with large open-fire grills. The “rock star chef” Francis Mallmann is known for quoting poetry, chomping cigars and his particular approach to cooking and living feels like an homage to a forgotten time and place.
